You can’t be what you can’t see! In order tomake the STEM sector more diverse, we need role models to share their story and give insights into their work. Through project “MINT to be” (German acronym for STEM), Silicon Saxony connects high-tech professionals with young people to ignite their excitement for STEM through workshops and lectures.
Project “MINT tobe” isaimed at pupilsfrom 7th grade onwards and aimsto highlight thevarietyof STEM professions and study programs in Saxony. Regardlessofgender, wewantto support youngpeople in discoveringtheirinterests and talents in the exciting field ofhigh-tech.
With thisproject, wewanttohelpensurethatgirls and non-binarypeopletake just asmanyopportunities in STEM fieldsasboys. Let’sworktogethertomaketheworkplace more fair and more inclusive!
